Since July 2025, CAF automatically verifies all beneficiaries' IBAN accounts. Any bank account not matching the exact name of the beneficiary triggers an automatic 60-day payment suspension.

Who is most affected?

Important: A spouse's account is not sufficient — you need your own account in your exact name.

How to fix this quickly

  1. Open a bank account in your name (Nickel, Revolut, La Poste or traditional bank)
  2. Log in to caf.fr → Mon compte → Mes coordonnées bancaires
  3. Update your RIB — the suspension is lifted upon receipt of a valid new RIB
